DeLon's First Major Motion Picture Opens!
DeLon is staring in Sri Lanka's first collaboration with motion picture powerhouses, Universal Pictures and Fox Search Light! Sinhawalokanaya, a film about cricket, is opening on January 14th, 2011; the same year that the Cricket World Cup is to be hosted in Sri Lanka. The emotional and action packed story scripted and directed by Suneth Malinga Lokuhewa features a talented allstar cast including the debut lead pair Dilan Jayasingha (DeLon) and Raini Charuka Gunathilaka together with Menaka Rajapakse and star cricketer Thilakaratne Dilshan.

DeLon wins “Best Rap Performance” in Sri Lanka by the Derana Music Video Award Show, equivalent to MTV in the United States. DeLon received this award for his work in the “A Hetha” music video. DeLon is honored to be recognized for this award and is proud to represent Sri Lanka in the United States.
